Stephanie Sounds’ forthcoming single ‘Hiding Away’ is a very relatable piece of art which represents anyone who have been hurt by someone close. The soothing and revitalising arrangements, fused with a lick of alternative soul and folk music, offers some kind of solace to stand tall with confidence after periods of shielding away from all the betrayal.
‘Hiding Away’ features bass player extraordinaire Rick Leon James who has worked with many names, including Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32 as well as producing multi award-winning saxophone player Yolanda Brown’s most recent album.
Before stepping out as a solo artist, Stephanie – also an upcoming fashion designer who has launched her label, SO London Boutique – provided backing vocals for the likes of Celine Dion, Jessie J, Florence and The Machine. Her time with dance outfit Faithless has broaden her appetite for real diverse musicality and expression, as featured in her latest effort.
‘Hiding Away’ is out on 17th August on all major digital download/streaming sites and is available for preorder from today (3rd August).
