She has been compared to Mary J Blige, Fantasia Barrino and Aretha Franklin.
She also toured, performed and recorded with some of the industry’s greats including Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, Adele, Jessie J, Donna Summer, Rita Ora and Late great James Brown.
More recently, she loaned her vocals to Craig David’s track ‘Focus’ from his latest album ‘The time is now’ which went straight to number 1 on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday.’
Now Phebe Edwards has emerged into the limelight. Her debut single ‘Say Suttn’ charted at number 14 in the iTunes R&B chart within hours of its release. To date her most current releases and tour support for renowned artists Gabrielle, Sam Bailey and Louisa Johnson have pushed her fan base to over 12k.
Determined to cement her spot in the limelight, the North Londoner released her track, ‘Space’. Written by the R&B singer herself, the latest offering features recently signed singer/songwriter Cameron Bloomfield and talented musician Kadeem Clarke. Kadeem also joined forces with producer Luke ‘G-kid’ Grant to deliver a chilled out take on R&B.
The track documents the sentiment of being trapped in a stifling relationship from both a female and male perspective. The accompanied video sees Phebe in an open field, with clips of dancers expressing her feelings of being trapped in a relationship.
