Album Review: Pentagon Memoirs – 3Bubble & J.Gray (@LiveatthePentagon)

There’s a couple of Houstonians that are determined to make 2016 their year and to leave a bent in the hip-hop scene – and they go by the names of Cleon “3bubble” Solomon and Justin Gray. In just three months after the debut album, ‘Live From The Pentagon’, the duo comes back harder with their second effort, ‘Pentagon Memoirs’.

A strong golden hip-hop influence,  jumpstart the 13 track album through Back To Work, showing their determination not to fade into black. Between the smooth grooves of after hours, displayed in tracks Better Days, War and Relax, comes high-energy VogueBursting with such vibrancy, in the spirit of their main comparisons, OutKast, this tenth effort doesn’t hold back from poking fun at the fashion industry.

Pentagon Memoirs is out via iTunes.
